Many people are utterly perplexed with how any woman could undertake a surrogacy arrangement. I often hear people explain “I could never do that”, or “I would get too attached to the baby”. And for some women that is true – they are not candidates to become surrogates as they are unable to “flick it around the right way” in their minds.
But for others, the thought is not about “Giving the baby away“, it is simply about “Giving the baby back” to his/her parents. Or as some fabulous surrogates I have spoken with call it “Extreme babysitting”. Here is one woman’s story http://www.bbc.com/news/uk-42716307 Could you be a surrogate for a stranger? Or maybe for someone you care about – your sister/best friend?
